Established over 20 years ago, A & Co. is one of the most respected and sought after event companies on the West Coast. We take a fine art approach to celebrations with a focus on weddings, important corporate milestones and brand events in the luxury arena.
Our events take place at distinctive venues in California and select US and worldwide destinations. We love creating artfully inspired events in beautiful places for you and are known for elegant, fun outdoor soirées at private homes and estates.
Notable Events: Our client list has included weddings and private parties for distinguished families in the tech and engineering world--including the Hewlett, Packard, and Bechtel families. The company has also produced events for renowned Celebrity Chefs, Olympic Gold Medal Winners and Celebrity Entertainers. Corporate events include the Hewlett Foundation’s 50th Anniversary Symposium, the Spruce SF Design Showcase and international conferences for the event industry.
ANNENA SORENSON…
is a certified professional event consultant, designer, artist and entrepreneur. In addition to her event company, she has launched businesses across several arenas including catering, luxury retail and handcrafted interior products for the home.
Most recently she worked with luxury brand Stephen Silver Co. to direct their marketing event program. The program included multiple anniversary celebrations, important brand introductions, styling events and partnering with prestigious luxury brands such as Hermes, Bentley, Rolls Royce and The Robb Report for exclusive private client events.
Described by industry leaders as being "multi-talented, calm and collected, extremely well organized, and never phased event in the trickiest of situations" - her clients say, "she always has the perfect solution".
Prior to her event planning career, she owned the successful catering business, By Invitation Only, drawing on her art background for the "spectacular designs" she was known for.
Although formally trained in interior architecture and design, Annena’s career path took a turn when she studied fine cooking and catering under Martha Stewart, Italian Chef Giuliano Bugialli and Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco. Further development of her passion for food and entertaining followed in her travels through France and Italy.
Her extensive experience in the culinary arts, luxury, retail and business combined with her expertise in color, lighting, and spacial transformations offers a unique skill set that she uses to continue her love for the "Art of Celebration".
